Theme Parks
Water slides, crazy golf, picnic areas, bouncing castles, pontoons, swimming pool surrounds...the list is endless.
Verde have supplied artificial grass to the majority of UK theme parks. On many occasions the grass is used to slow the carriages down on the water slides, although adventure golf courses are fast becoming our most popular request.
Croquet Lawns
Verde have worked in close association with the Croquet Federation for over 24 years. Verde supply a portable croquet lawn that can be rolled out in sports centres and village halls for temporary play. It is supplied in 3 sections, each 22'6" x 6', all being rolled away for storage after play.
Over the years Verde have also installed a number of permanent croquet lawns in private homes and would be pleased to continue to offer this service.
Equestrian
The equestrian market has various requirements for synthetic surfaces due to extensive wear that horses create on the ground beneath.
Verde cater for numerous applications within this industry which include:
- Rubber crumb for indoor dressage areas
- Non-slip rubber tiles for horse boxes
- Artificial grass for covering horse jumps and hedges
- Busy spectator areas at race courses
Verde are able to design, create and manufacture a wide spectrumof products to suit individual requirements. The equestrian market is no exception to this rule.
Multi-Purpose
Multi-sports pitches have been around for many years and are there to create a synthetic sports pitch which is suitable for a variety of sports, making them cost-effective to run and popular for hiring out.
Sports clubs, schools, colleges and local communities look to create these areas to cater for football, hockey, rugby, tennis, netball and basketball. The same surface caters for all sports.
Verde offer a standard sand-filled fibrillated polypropylene artificial grass which is traditional to this multi-functional application. Line-markings can be tufted/cut into the surface to suit individual sports. Green is the standard colour but alternative colours are optional.

Avon Rubber Mat
A multi-functional 17mm thick moulded rubber mat, supplied for decades as stable mats and for covering free-weight lifting areas.

Verde AeroMat
A 10mm poyethylene foam mat which has been on the market for over 20 years offering a cheap, clean and comfortable solution for traditional aerobics, yoga, pilates and camping.

Ice Rink Covers
Verde has been an agent for Nordifa's "Rinktex" ice rink cover for many years.
Rinktex is a specialist surface designed to transform the ice rink (without melting the ice) from a skating rink to a multi-functional areana.
Pop concerts, exhibitions, football matches ... the hall becomes extremely versatile.
Bob Dylan famously played on the Rinktex at Dundonald Ice Bowl,
Jaguar held a major exhibition at Aviemore and a celebratory
charity football match was played on this surface.
Costly to produce
but lucrative once installed.
Ski Slopes & Toboggan Runs
Years of progression has seen radical changes to artificial ski-slopes but Verde are till major suppliers to this industry.
